Category AM (moped) – minimum age 16

  • Two-wheeled vehicle with a maximum design speed of 45 km/h (28 mph)
  • three- or four-wheeled vehicle with a maximum design speed over 25 km/h (15.5 mph), up to 50 cc and with a power output not exceeding 4 kW.

Category A1 – minimum age 17

  • motorcycles up to 125 cc, with a power output not exceeding 11 kW
  • tricycles with a power output not exceeding 15 kW.

Category A2 – minimum age 19

  • motorcycles with a power output not exceeding 35 kW.

Category A

  • unrestricted motorcycles with a power output over 35 kW (minimum age 24 under direct access, or 21 under progressive access)
  • tricycles with a power output over 15 kW (minimum age 21).

Our Service department is open from 8:30 until 17:00 Monday to Friday for servicing or MOT's. Labour Rates for Service Work up to 125cc £55.00 Per Hour + VAT

Saturday Servicing

Busy during the week? Our Service department is open from 8:30 until 17:00 on a Saturday for servicing or MOT's.This service is very popular so be sure to book in advance.Normal Servicing T&Cs apply.

While-U-Wait Servicing

If you'd prefer to wait whilst we service your bike please ask when booking – there is limited availability for this service but we will do our best to accommodate you. Relax in H's café, enjoy the full range of food and drinks on offer and use our Wi-Fi if you need to access the Net. There are some types of service that the While-U-Wait service is not best suited to, eg major 16K services.

A Collection and Delivery service in our own specially equipped vans is available and needs to be pre booked with our service department, please call for a quote.

MOT Service

Our Service department is open from 8:30 until 17:00 Monday to Saturday for MOT's. Cost of MOT £29.65.
